The MIHÕ Ltd. (Member Company of Miskolc Holding Plc.) is the second largest distinct heating operator in Hungary, a company providing heating service for more than 32 000 private and 1000 public consumers. Its office building, located at 52. Gagarin Street, was in serious need of renewal, both in terms of the heating system and insulation of doors and windows. In September 2009, the company applied for a subsidy for the renewal of this building.

The subsidy given to the company covers 70 % of its project cost (34 million HUF from the 50 million HUF project). These costs cover the heat insulation of the outer fronting, replacement of the insulation of doors and windows and modernizing the heating system.

With the development of the caloric centre, the building will be equipped with an automation that can change the heating according to the outside weather, finding the most suitable inner temperature. The renewal of the building is going to result in significant decrease in the running costs, saving both money and energy for the company.
