Taking care of public areas

• Daily, regular cleaning of Miskolc, the spring and fall cleaning, taking away the illegally deposited wastes
• Taking care of parks, park maintenance, planting flowers, ambrosia eradication, plant protection
• Placement and taking care of flower pots, candelabras, flower pyramids
• Lawn mowing, scything the untidy areas, raking of leaves, sawing the branches, cutting trees
• Snow clearing, ice clearing, provision of gritting material,
• Extermination of mosquitoes and rodents
• Maintenance of the beds of the Szinva and of the Hejõ creeks

Management of road, bridge, ground water structures

• Placement of road signs, street name and information signs, pot-hole patching, road control service
• Maintenance of pavements, stairs, railings, subways, bridges and making them accessible for people with disabilities
• Maintenance of metalled roads within and outside the town boundaries
• Protection against floods and ground water, disaster recovery
• Administration of projects financed by the inhabitants

Short History of the Company

February 23, 2000
A Miskolci Városgazda Nonprofit Ltd. (Miskolc City Management Non-Profit Organization) was founded by the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank for pursuing activity aiming at the satisfaction of common public demands - without aiming at making profit.

July 6, 2006
The ownership rights are exercised by Miskolc Holding Önkormányzati Vagyonkezelõ Zrt. founded by the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank.

Mission

The mission of Miskolci Városgazda Nonprofit Ltd. is to cooperate - as the manager of the city - actively, openly and in an environment friendly way with every concerned party in the development of the townscape of Miskolc, being ready to new initiatives and ensuring that our city has an attractive, high quality and at the same time cozy atmosphere.
