MIVÍZ Miskolc Water Management Ltd. is responsible for the provision of drinking water, sewage discharge and waste water management services in a continuous and professional way for the retail and corporate consumers of Miskolc City of County Rank.
In addition to the basic tasks, the Company is also responsible for the operation of the springs ensuring water supply for the baths of the city and for supplying drinking water to the surrounding settlements (Mályi, Nyékládháza, Bükkszentkereszt).

Short History of the Company

1992
The assets of the Miskolc Water Works, Baths and Sewage Works Company -within this the drinking water supply system of the city of Miskolc - was transferred to the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank

April 1, 1995
The Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank founded the MIVÍZ Miskolc Water Works Plc.

June 30, 2005
The General Assembly of the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank, in the frame of the program of the medium and long term implementation of MIVÍZ Rt. decided the reorganization of MIVÍZ Rt. with two resolutions. MIVÍZ Kft., as the legal successor of MIVÍZ PLc. was founded pursuant to the resolution of the Company Court, as the result of the demerger of the Plc.

July 6, 2006
The ownership rights are exercised by Miskolc Holding Önkormányzati Vagyonkezelõ Zrt. founded by the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank.

It is hour honorable duty to provide drinking water supply and sewage services to the inhabitants of Miskolc and of the surrounding areas. We aim at becoming a stable, modern, market leading business organization with an expanding service area.
We continuously develop our public utility activity and - due to our expertise - we provide high quality, sustainable, safe and efficient services. As member of the Miskolc Holding company group the responsibility for the consumers and the environment imbue our decisions and activity.
