Régió Park Miskolc Kft. operates the surface parking system of Miskolc. In light of the increasing demand, the company wants to increase the number of parking places by opening parking houses, underground garages and wishes to create flexible conditions for the clients by introducing several different methods of payment (season ticket, mobile phone, chip card, ticket vending machines), season ticket constructions and minute-based invoicing.

Short History of the Company

October 1, 2004
In harmony with the decision of the General Assembly, a new parking system - operated with automatic parking meters - entered into force in Miskolc. The system is operated by Régió Park Miskolc Kft.

July 6, 2006
The ownership rights are exercised by Miskolc Holding Önkormányzati Vagyonkezelõ Zrt. founded by the Local Government of Miskolc City of County Rank.

Mission

It is hour honorable obligation to operate the paying parking system of Miskolc. We use our expertise to continuously improve the parking system and to regulate the traffic by which we contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in the city. In addition to parking in public areas, we want to play a determinant role in the operation of parking houses and we wish to contribute to the economy organization and urban development activity of the city, as well.
By the introduction the park and walk (P + W) system we aim at creating and operating an environment friendly parking system in Miskolc in order to improve the transportation and parking culture.
