Miskolc Holding Önkormányzati Vagyonkezelô Zrt. (in English: Miskolc Holding Local Government Asset Management Corporation) is one of Miskolc town's most capital-intensive company groups, a defining participant of the town's business life.
Its wide-scope activity embracing also economy development activities is the token of the town's dynamic development. Affiliated corporations ensure services necessary for everyday life; they operate the district heating-, water- and sewage services, waste management, public transportation and parking system. Purpose of uniform management:
The company group will be able to create the conditions necessary to new municipal investments and enterprises, to utilize the possibilities offered by tenders and to operate applying the project approach. November 17, 2005
The General Assembly of Miskolc City of County Rank (CoCR) decided in its resolution no. IX-264/71.735/2005 that for the sake of a more efficient operation of the business associations owned by the Local Government the company group shall be managed in the form of a Holding as of January 01, 2007.
July 6, 2006
The General Assembly of Miskolc CoCR, in its resolution no V-141/95.718/2006, decided to establish the Miskolc Holding Municipal Property Management Private Company Limited by Shares.
July 24, 2006
The B-A-Z County Court as Company Court incorporated the Miskolc Holding Municipal Property Management Plc.
